Feeling Crafty

Busy, busy, busy, that’s what I’ve been lately. It’s the holiday craft fair season, and I’ve been printing up a passel o’ prints in preparation.

First up, this weekend, is the 2nd Annual Pacific Art League Craft Sale, in Palo Alto. It’s a juried show, which means (as Sarah-Hope says) no crocheted beer can carriers. It’s all classy stuff! There will be 14 artists showing and (hopefully) selling their work.

I’ll be selling prints, of course; matted, loose, framed, and small ones as greeting cards. Come on by and say hello if you can! Here are the details:

668 Ramona Street, Palo Alto [see map]
Saturday, November 20, 11am – 6pm
Sunday, November 21, 11am – 5pm

I usually try to buy one ‘thing’ to upgrade and improve my booth/tent before each such event. This time I got a banner with my name and the rabid squirrel print on it. It looks awesome! Though as someone pointed out, the mad squirrel might scare some visitors away. Don’t worry; he doesn’t really bite!

After Thanksgiving, I’ll be taking part in a four-weekend marathon craft sale in Scott’s Valley. Stay tuned for more information on that.

And here’s another holiday shopping idea for you: things with my prints on them! That’s right: you can have a t-shirt with the pilgrim bearing his burden, or a mug with one of my paintings on it. All you need to do is visit my Cafe Press shop. Who could resist a baby jumpsuit with a giant chicken on it?

To get $10 off your order, simply buy $50 or more worth of stuff (and it doesn’t all have to be from my shop, though it would be nice if it was!) and enter source code Friend10 at checkout. This offer is good on any purchases made between November 20 – 23.

I’ve ordered a lot of stuff from Cafe Press, and have been pleased with the quality of their items. And they’re pretty quick, too. Go check it out now!

What if it’s an imported beer? Is that ‘classy’ enough for Sarah-Hope?

  2. Jo says:

So why the rabid squirrel? Is it because you’re NUTS????
Hahahahahahaha! Hey – maybe I should get a copy of that- maybe he’ll scare away the 1/2 dozen squirrels that have taken over my bird feeder, much to the chagrin of the birds.

    Jo!
Shame on you, not knowing your sister is terrified of squirrels! Or is it some childhood prank you played on her, hmm……
